Hearts for Hospice
Stitching heart door hangers for Houston hospices is an ongoing HEG project.
Our Guild has gifted hearts to the HCA Healthcare Hospice & Family Care
In March 2026, we delivered 31 hearts made during 2025
In January 2025, we delivered 34 hearts made during 2024
Our members use their skills including: embroidery, cross stitch, needle point, sewing to finish, add charms, ribbon and cording to embellish hearts for hospices. Annually, the hearts are delivered to our selected Hospice organization who give them to grieving families.

Sunflower quilt blocks for Ukraine
Thanks to all who supported this project by sewing quilt blocks and donating money! The last week of August, fourteen creative quilt blocks were mailed to Wrap the World with Quilts for the Sunflower Quilt for Ukraine project. See photo for a collage of 12 blocks.
Doctors for Heroes
On August 25th $140 dollars were donated to Doctors for Heroes, $10 for each of the quilt blocks to be sent to Ukraine.

Thanks to the union of the most specialized surgeons and bioengineers in Ukraine, all medical services are provided free of charge to patients in medical institutions, but the production of patient-specific implants is required to reproduce the lost parts of the skull bones."
